Our Board

Our Board is entrusted with the critical role of governance, acting as the link between the school and the community, and ensuring the long-term success of every student.

Our primary focus is to uphold and champion the school's vision: 'Culturally connected ākonga with the mōhiotanga to be agents of change'. We achieve this by:

  • Strategic Oversight: Setting the school's strategic direction, ensuring resources are aligned with our long-term goals for student achievement, well-being, and cultural connection.

  • Policy and Finance: Approving and monitoring all major school policies and managing the school's finances to ensure prudent and ethical stewardship of public funds.

  • Principal Partnership: Employing the Principal and providing comprehensive support to ensure effective leadership and management of the school's operations.

We operate under the principles of fairness, transparency, and accountability, placing the student's success at the centre of every decision.

We work collaboratively with the Principal, staff, and our community to ensure Kelston Girls' College remains a high-achieving, nurturing, and empowering environment.

We invite you to review our current strategic plan, annual reports, and meeting dates below.
