Te Wheke: Bilingual Pathways

Kelston Girls’ College offer bilingual classes in Te Reo Māori, Gagana Samoan and Tongan.

We want our ākonga to be able to move flawlessly and seamlessly in and out of the two worlds they live in, including movement from Bilingual to mainstream and vice versa.

The focus of the bilingual pathway is to guide our ākonga to become grounded and proud culturally, and confident in using their language.
