Music Department

Thanks to the untiring efforts of itinerant music teacher Ruth Allan, the Kelston Girls’ College Chamber group recently performed at Tirimoana School in Waitakere. What makes the performance different is the encouragement that Ruth and the girls in the Chamber group give to other, younger students to join in and play music with them. Students from Kelston Boys’ High School, Kelston Intermediate, Bruce McLaren Intermediate and Tirimoana Primary are just some of the students from other schools who perform in the Kelston Girls’ College Chamber Group.
