Samoan Group
TALOFA LAVA!
It has been another awesome year for the Kelston Girls’ College Samoan Group, with only 6 weeks to practice we met the deadline and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. As always study was important before every practice which kept us all up to date with our school work. We performed to an even bigger crowd this year at the Maori and Pacific Island Secondary School Festival and yes again it was an awesome experience. For all our hard work this year, we received the following placings:
| Sāsā (clap/slap dance) |
Third |
| Ma’ulu’ulu (Group dance) |
Third |
| Togiga (Uniform) |
Second |
| Pese o le Aso (Song of the day) |

| Taupou (Main maiden dancer) |

| Ulufale (Entrance) |

| Ulufafo (Exit) |

A big Fa’afetai (thank you) goes out to our teachers in charge, tutors, student leaders and to Mrs Fox and Senior Management. Also, to all our family, friends and all the students from Kelston Girls’ College who came out and supported us on the day.
FA’AFETAI, FA’AFETAI, FA’AFETAI LAVA!
