Fijian Group
This year Kelston Girls’ College entered a Fijian group in the non-competitive section of Polyfest. Thirty-eight enthusiastic students practised during their lunch hours as well as twice a week after school. They were joined by the Fijian group from Kelston Boys High School who performed the chant for the vakamalolo while the girls performed the dance. Many thanks go to the boys for their support. This year the Fijian group performed –- Vakamalolo – a traditional dance- Seasea- Mekiri – a fan dance
